Children and Psoriasis
It is very understandable that parents are unhappy when it transpires that their child has psoriasis. The symptoms of psoriasis are often difficult to identify on the (immature) skin of a child. The fact of the illness then looms like an unconquerable mountain in front of the worried parents. Unfortunately, the available information and level of education regarding psoriasis is restricted, even today, and much still takes place at the level of self-help.
