Forms of Psoriasis
Psoriasis can take on numerous different forms. We have observed that the different forms of psoriasis have one thing in common. They all react equally well to the treatment and nutrition principles presented in this book. The differences between people who were treated seem to originate in the reaction pattern unique to each person. An example of this is that every person reacts in their own way to negative stress. One person may get a migraine, the next high blood pressure, a third a stomach ulcer etc. After all that we have said, it will not therefore be necessary to examine more precisely the different forms of psoriasis. Forms of Neurodermatitis (Atopic Dermatitis)
Unlike psoriasis, the forms of neurodermatitis are less inclined to cause scaly skin but does lead to reddening and severe itching of the skin. Other areas of skin are more likely to be affected. While psoriasis, for example, normally affects the outer side of arms and legs, neurodermatitis is more likely to be concentrated on the inside, in the folds of the limbs. Neurodermatitis is also found in many different degrees of severity. A slight reddening with some itching at the elbow or knee joints may be the only symptoms of which the person complains. On the other hand, it is also possible that the entire skin of the face, throat, the upper part of the body and arms and legs may be affected, causing an acute illness and severe suffering to the person affected. Possibly the skin is just reddened but it may also be so aggravated that the weeping, eczema-like conditions appear.
