Excerpt from the book
The Skin and Atopic Dermatitis (Atopic Eczema)
The disease atopic dermatitis (atopic eczema) begins in infancy, an age at which all bodily reactions are still in a stage of immaturity. Atopic eczema leads to exaggerated irritation of the skin, which is expressed as extreme itching and causes the child to suffer severely. It is all the more important to identify and to learn to avoid all substances to which the body (and the skin) reacts with irritation. This includes substances that affect the body from outside as well as internally. Correct care of the skin is also important, so that the suffering can truly be alleviated, and the skin is not additionally aggravated. This book aims to offer assistance with these topics.
