Excerpt from the book
The Skin and Psoriasis
It is not enough just to treat the skin alone in a case of psoriasis. Rather, the metabolic system of the person affected must be influenced in such a way that disruptive factors no longer occur. For it is these disruptive factors which overtax the metabolism, causing the skin to react with irritation. In that sense, then, psoriasis is not actually a skin disease, but should rather be described as skin that is diseased. The origin, however, lies somewhere quite different. This book aims to shed light on this matter.
